I thought I ovulated this month. I had a nice raise in temperature... but now it’s back down, only a few days afterwards. As of today, it does not look like ovulation has happened, and as you can imagine, I am very disappointed. It’s already hard enough to get pregnant when everything is in working order – so where does that leave me now? And: is this thyroid gland malfunction really the reason for my irregularities???

When I visited my grandparents a few days ago, I told them about the results of my blood work. Interestingly enough, Oma had a story for me (– I will MISS her stories!!!) about how, before she got pregnant with my uncle, she was diagnosed with the same condition. She was told that this is what’s keeping her from conceiving. She was prescribed some medication – and was pregnant very soon after.

Another parallel between my Oma and I? I certainly do hope so. I am going to go back to the lab for the blood work tomorrow morning.
